Hi I'm Maia and my role on the boat is Chief Steward. This job traditionally revolves around making sure everybody is happy and healthy. I am 13 years old and the second out of four siblings. When we are on the boat it's my job to make sure my younger brothers are safe. It's important to keep them out of the way while either Sophia or Dad are driving the boat. 

I have a dog named Shiloh (she's my baby). She gets quite stressed when the engines are running so I get to sit her on my lap or keep her in my room to calm her down. Shiloh is very old, she's currently 12 and is starting to loose her eyesight. We used to have another dog named Zen who we got when I was little. He sadly passed away last year due to old age. Zen and Shiloh were best friends and had been with me most of my life, you can see Zen in some of our earliest footage. You can tell that I LOVE dogs. :)

My hobbies when we're not on the boat are musical theatre and tap dancing. Having done musical theatre with my sister since I was little, I am very comfortable on a stage or publicly speaking. Tap dancing is something I picked up a little later. I loved it right away and will sometimes tap dance on the jetty in the marina.
